Junior Controller

The role

Soly makes solar energy accessible to everyone, which requires an optimized financial process. As a Controller you will contribute to the financial goals of Soly itself and the various departments. You thrive on working with numbers and take on financial processes with dedication.

In this role you will operate from the financial heart of the organization: Team Finance & Control. You will work closely with the two other Controllers, and ensure accurate and timely administration within the Soly Group. You will also collaborate with the Country Managers to (strategically) improve and professionalize processes. As Soly continues to grow internationally, you will grow alongside it.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations, and revenue recognition

• Managing financial data including, among other things, project administration & daily finance operations;

• Close collaboration with Country Managers regarding the cash flow: discuss the financial statements, and afford advice on a strategic level;

• Proactively contribute to process optimization, such as the month-end closing, inventorymanagement, and internal controls;

• Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed;

• Answering finance-related questions from (international).

  Job requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Accountancy or something related;

• At the start of your career with preferably some work experience (for example from an internship);

• Strong communication skills;

• You work structured, responsible and proactive;

• You thrive in a dynamic environment and you are not afraid to take initiative.

Employment conditions:

• Salary: €35.000 to €52.000 annually, depending on your skills and experience;
