The position

In your role as a Sales Consultant, you will be part of our ambitious and rapidly growing sales team based in Cape Town (De Waterkant).

As our Sales Consultant, you are responsible for helping homeowners throughout South Africa to switch away from Eskom to solar panels and home batteries. On a weekly basis, you receive leads who are looking for solar and batteries, and you are the consultant who helps them achieve their goal of switching to renewable and affordable energy.

As our Sales Consultant, you’ll...

• Conduct virtual sales consultations with potential customers.

• Use your commercial skills to convince warm leads - people who actively show an interest in our products - to make Soly their preferred solar energy supplier and contribute to the growth of our business.

• Provide clients with customised solutions that allow them to save costs, be part of the green energy transition, and maximize the benefits of our solar energy system.

• By building up and growing your own customer base, you will make a significant contribution to a more sustainable South Africa. 

• Make sure that the switch to solar energy and batteries is smooth, quick and with a high customer satisfaction.

Your profile

• 3+ years experience working in commercial roles (sales consultant, account manager, business developer, sales manager).

• Have experience in renewable energy branche.

• Energetic, motivated individuals ready to embrace the Soly philosophy – no compromises, just commitment to our vision.

• An outgoing and communicative personality is a good way to describe you and you are a true team player.

• Have a keen interest in selling sustainable products, and you are tech-savvy.
